| Councillors Online gives registered (and approved) members the ability to edit and completely manage their own web site through a simple web interface. It also provides a public search utility for visitors to find councillor's web sites.
It allows registered users to log on and view their content in text areas. These text areas are mapped to specific areas in their site. This tool allows up to 4 text areas per page and up to 12 pages.
In addition to the textual content, the tool now supports many other features. These include tables for use in price lists and timetables, the News section provides easy management of up to 30 articles at any one time, links, a gallery, and many other options.

Throughout this site we refer to the editing tool as N.I.E.T. which is short for 'Nimbus Instant Edit Tool. The N.I.E.T. can be used in conjunction with templated designs available at this site, bespoke designs produced in association with Councillors Online, or existing web sites.
